What we collect

• When you become a founding member: your name, email, billing country and payment details. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• If you came through a partner link: the partner code (for example ?ref=name), stored on your device and attached to your sign-up.
• If you fill in "Who sent you?" at checkout: your answer, attached to your sign-up.
• If you join the launch waitlist: your email address.
• Basic technical data our hosting provider (Vercel) logs to keep the site running and secure.
• Anonymous site statistics (pages viewed, buttons clicked, how far you scroll, the partner code you came through, your country) with PostHog, hosted in the EU. Cookieless: we don't set tracking cookies or store an identifier on your device for this.

Why we use it

• To take and manage your membership and payments (contract).
• To pay partners their share for members they brought in (legitimate interest).
• To email you about your membership and the launch on 1 January 2027 (contract). Marketing emails only with your consent.
• Waitlist: one email when Self+ launches (consent). Unsubscribe anytime with the link in that email.
• Site statistics, to see what works and improve the site (legitimate interest).

Who we share it with

Partners and connectors: when you sign an agreement we store your details, the signing record and, for partners, your public invite page details (first name, handle and photo, shown only after you confirm your email). Connectors can register creators by their public social media handle; we use these handles only to match introductions, never to contact or profile anyone, and keep them as proof for the program. Stripe stores these records for us.

Portal login: you log in with your email and a password. We store only a scrambled version (hash) of your password, never the password itself. To confirm your email or set a new password we email you a one-time link; we store only a hash of that link, your email and the IP address it was asked from, and delete them within 24 hours after the link expires. A login cookie (strictly necessary, no consent needed) keeps you logged in for up to 30 days; you can log out on one or all devices. To prevent abuse we count login requests per email and IP address for one hour. Your registrations, their status history and your earnings records are kept as proof for the programs. These portal records are stored for us by Supabase (EU). To delete your account, email stijnvanliempt@selfplus.app.

Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Supabase (portal login and records, EU), Resend (transactional email), MailerLite (waitlist email; until it is set up, waitlist addresses are stored in Stripe), PostHog (anonymous site statistics, EU). Partners see only how many members joined through their link and what they earned, never your personal details.

How long we keep it

As long as you are a member, and afterwards only as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing stijnvanliempt@selfplus.app. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
